OSTOJIĆ: WE ARE READY TO HELP SERBS LIVING OUTSIDE REPUBLIKA SRPSKA

BOSANSKO GRAHOVO, AUGUST 19 /SRNA/ - Republika Srpska Minister of Labor, War Veterans and Disabled Persons' Protection Radan Ostojić today thanked the Serbs living in Bosansko Grahovo, who, he said, face the greatest difficulties, and expressed the readiness of Republika Srpska institutions to provide them with every form of assistance. "By being here, we are showing that we will never forget these people and that they will always be residents of Republika Srpska and our brothers," Ostojić said, attending the celebration of Bosansko Grahovo Municipality Day. He stressed that it was a particular pleasure for him to visit places where a large number of Serbs live but which remained outside the territory of Republika Srpska. "As Minister of Labor, War Veterans and Disabled Persons' Protection, I can say that they will have all the rights enjoyed by residents of Republika Srpska," Ostojić added. According to him, Grahovo is a Serbian town and has been a heroic region throughout its history. "These are centuries-old Serbian hearths, where the struggle for the Orthodox faith and freedom has been the highest ideal. It was the same during the last Defensive-Patriotic War, in which 167 people from this area gave their lives for freedom and Republika Srpska," Ostojić said. He reminded that Serbs had followed a path of suffering and Golgotha, but also of heroism, bravery and mutual respect along the way. /end/nv/am/sg
