1 killed in train accident in Turku

One person was killed in a train accident in Turku on Monday evening, police said in a press release. The accident took place at an intersection near Vanha Tampereentie in between Turku and Tampere. Police, however, did not divulge details about the accident and the identity of the deceased. The Accident Investigation Board and Police are investigating into the case to find out the reason behind the accident.
