Google Unveils Pixel 11 Pro Lineup With New AI Features and Tensor G6 Chip

Google has unveiled the Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, introducing a new AI-powered notification feature, its next-generation Tensor G6 processor and upgraded cameras across its flagship smartphone lineup. The three new devices feature HiLight, a small light positioned beside the rear camera lenses. It activates when the phone is placed face-down and can alert users to calls from selected contacts. Google also designed the feature to light up when users interact with its Gemini AI assistant. Google is introducing Gemini Intelligence alongside the new phones, with the company positioning it as a more capable AI system for smartphones. The devices are powered by the Tensor G6, which the supplied report describes as the first smartphone chip manufactured using TSMC’s 2-nanometer process. The Pixel 11 Pro has a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4,850mAh battery. It supports 30W wired charging and magnetic Pixelsnap wireless charging. The Pixel 11 Pro XL features a larger 6.8-inch 120Hz LTPO OLED display and a 5,115mAh battery, along with faster 45W wired charging. The Pro models also receive a new memory configuration. The Pixel 11 Pro starts with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, while the 512GB and 1TB versions have 16GB of RAM. Google has equipped both Pro models with a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, a 48-megapixel 5x periscope telephoto camera and a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera with autofocus. The front camera has a 42-megapixel sensor and a 103-degree field of view. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold combines the same Tensor G6 processor and Gemini Intelligence features with a foldable design. Its cover display has increased to 6.5 inches, while the internal display remains 8 inches. The foldable phone has a 48-megapixel main camera, a 10.8-megapixel 5x telephoto camera and a 10.5-megapixel ultrawide camera. It also has two 10-megapixel selfie cameras. The Pro Fold has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and comes with 16GB of RAM, including the 256GB version. Its 4,806mAh battery is smaller than the 5,015mAh battery in its predecessor, although Google says the new model can still provide 24-hour battery endurance. The Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL will be available in Canyon, Olive, Fog and Obsidian, while the Pro Fold comes in Olive and Obsidian.
