SOR NS 12/18 SOR NS 12 in Bratislava (Slovakia) The SOR NS is a series of city buses manufactured by the Czech company SOR Libchavy since 2016. It replaced the SOR NB buses. There is also a natural gas-powered version, the SOR NSG 12; an electric bus, the NS 12electric; an articulated bus, the NS 18; and trolleybuses, the SOR TNS 12 and Škoda 32Tr. Model range NS 12 The SOR NS 12 bus is a fully low-floor model. It is 12 meters long and 2.55 meters wide. Passengers can board the bus through two doors, each 1.2 meters wide. It is also possible to install air conditioning. The electric bus was unveiled in September 2016. A version with an internal combustion engine was introduced in 2017. Models powered by natural gas have been in production since 2020. NS 18 The SOR NS 18 bus is 18.75 meters long and 2.55 meters wide. Passengers can board through four doors, each 1.2 meters wide. In 2018, the SOR NS 18 with a gasoline engine was introduced. Starting in 2022, natural gas-powered versions of the SOR NSG 18 and electric buses have also been in production.
