Belize hosts Financial Services seminar

By Zoila Palma:  On July 1, 2026, Finance Belize convened the London Financial Services Seminar in partnership with the Belize High Commission, London, bringing together members of the UK financial services community, business networks, strategic partners and the Belizean diaspora. During the seminar, Finance Belize highlighted Belize’s evolving financial services sector and priority areas for collaboration. Welcome Remarks were done by Cherie Nisbet, Belize High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, and Opening Remarks by Finance Belize Chairman, Reynaldo Magaña, alongside representatives from the London Financial Times, London Business Network, Caribbean Council and other valued stakeholders. As one of the world’s leading international financial centers, London remains an important gateway for Belize to build meaningful partnerships, promote cross-border business opportunities and advance our vision of a modern, competitive and globally connected financial services jurisdiction.
