Tanzania and the US Sign USD 3.1 Billion Five-Year MOU to Strengthen the Healthcare System
Tanzania and the United States have signed a five-year USD 3.1 billion health cooperation memorandum of understanding combining more than USD 1.8 billion from Tanzania and over USD 1.3 billion from the US. The partnership will strengthen healthcare systems, disease surveillance, digital health infrastructure, laboratory networks, and public health preparedness while supporting Tanzania's long-term health sector sustainability.
