'Digital television' case to be reviewed again in court
The Senate’s Criminal Division has reviewed the prosecutor’s appeal and overturned the Riga Regional Court’s ruling, which had found all defendants in the so-called second Digital Television criminal case not guilty and acquitted them. Several individuals were involved in the case, including Rīga City Council member Ainārs Šlesers (Latvia First) and former Prime Minister Andris Šķēle, Latvian Television reports.
