Questions raised by fallen section of Dromin Graveyard

SINN Fein councillor PJ Carey, representing the Cappamore/Kilmallock Municipal District, has questioned Limerick City and County Council on its plans to rebuild a fallen section of wall at the back of Dromin Graveyard. In response, the local authority said that the section of boundary wall that collapsed in February 2026 has been made safe until such time as appropriate restoration work can be commenced. Based on similar projects, we currently estimate the cost of the works will be in the region of €10,000 to €15,000.
