PM Hun Manet to Attend ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit in Kazan, Russian Federation

(Phnom Penh): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet will lead a high-level delegation to attend the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit, marking the 35th Anniversary of ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Relations, to be held from 17-18 June 2026 in Kazan, Russian Federation, at the invitation of Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, according to a press release seen by Fresh News on Monday (Jun. 15). Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet will be accompanied by Prak Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, ministers, senior government officials, and Cambodian business representatives. In celebration of the 35th Anniversary of ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Relations, the summit serves as an important opportunity to chart the course for further advancing the ASEAN-Russia Strategic Partnership. The leaders will also exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest and concern, thereby contributing to the promotion of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond. Samdech Thipadei will attend other side events and have several bilateral meetings to further enhance bilateral and multilateral relations and promote cooperation in areas of shared interest and mutual benefit.=FRESH NEWS
