Samdech Techo Hun Sen Congratulates Lao President on 70 Years of Cambodia-Laos Diplomatic Relations

(Phnom Penh): Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State of Cambodia, sent a congratulatory letter to Lao President and Lao People’s Revolutionary Party General Secretary Thongloun Sisoulith on the momentous occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Laos, according to a letter seen by Fresh News on Monday (Jun. 15). In the letter, Samdech Techo stated, “This is indeed an opportune juncture to invigorate our brotherly friendship and robust cooperation, which have endured for hundreds of years, even prior to the establishment of formal diplomatic relations in 1956.
