MANILA, Philippines–Alex Eala found Iva Jovic too much to handle for a second time, falling to the fast-rising American star, 2-6, 2-6, to bow out in the HSBC Championships on Wednesday (Manila time) at Queen’s Club in London. Eala was beaten comfortably by her close friend and former doubles partner in their rematch that happened just 15 days after their French Open first-round encounter, handily won by Jovic.
