Government opens modern school facility for southern Belize students
By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): The Government of Belize, through the Social Investment Fund and the Caribbean Development Bank, has officially inaugurated a new building for the Corazon Creek Technical High School in the Toledo District.
The new infrastructure is aimed at expanding educational opportunities in southern Belize and will directly benefit students traveling from sixteen different communities across the district.
The project includes a modern two-story concrete structure featuring eight classrooms designed to improve the learning environment for students. The facility also includes administrative offices, restrooms for students and staff, secure storage areas and integrated access ramps to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.
Officials say the investment reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to improving access to quality education and modern infrastructure in rural communities throughout Belize.
