Finland job vacancies fall 15% in first quarter
The number of open jobs in Finland fell sharply during the first quarter of 2026 as employers reduced hiring across both private and public sectors, according to new figures from Statistics Finland.
Statistics Finland reported 48,600 open vacancies at the start of March, down 15 per cent from 57,500 vacancies recorded a year earlier.
The decline reflected weaker labour demand across all regions and company sizes during the opening months of the year.
