The Abarth 695 is an Italian ‘hot hatch’ based on the FIAT 500. Produced by Abarth, a division of Fiat renowned for its sports cars.
The model range includes the Competizione, Esseesse, Turismo, and Pista. The most powerful and sporty version is the 695.
Variants
The Abarth 695 ‘Tributo Ferrari’ is a limited edition model developed in collaboration with Ferrari engineers, based on the Abarth 500. The car has a modified 1,368 cc (1.4-litre) 16-valve Turbo T-Jet engine featuring a new Garrett turbocharger. The engine delivers over 180 HP at 5,500 rpm, with torque reaching 250 Nm.
The Abarth 695 ‘Competizione’ is based on the Abarth 500 Assetto Corsa. The car has just two seats with a rear roll bar. The steering wheel is trimmed in black leather, and a 5-speed Abarth Competizione gearbox is fitted. Under the bonnet is a 1.4 Turbo T-Jet engine producing 180 HP, an Abarth Competizione electromechanical gearbox and special shock absorbers.
The Abarth 695 Tributo Maserati is a limited edition of the Abarth 500C. It made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012. A total of 499 cars were produced. The car has 17-inch Maserati ‘Neptune’ alloy wheels and high-performance tyres.
The Abarth 695 70° Anniversario was unveiled at the Abarth Days in Milan in 2019. The event marked the brand’s 70th anniversary. It is a limited edition of 1,949 units. Under the bonnet is a 1.4-litre T-Jet turbocharged engine producing 180 HP. A distinctive feature of this version is the adjustable rear spoiler.
