Police seize 300kg of drugs linked to Swedish network

Finnish police have seized close to 300 kilograms of narcotics in an investigation into a network with links to organised crime groups from Sweden, authorities said on Wednesday. The National Bureau of Investigation said the case involves several import and distribution operations uncovered across the Helsinki region since late 2025. Investigators suspect a single international organisation directed the activity from outside Finland. Police said drugs were stored in rented flats and distributed through local operatives.
