French cable-monitoring specialist Win MS expands into Asia and new industries
French cable-monitoring specialist Win MS is expanding its global footprint with a new office in Vietnam and plans to broaden its technology into shipbuilding, automotive and defence sectors, the company said.
The startup, which develops advanced cable fault detection systems based on reflectometry and signal processing, said the Vietnam office will strengthen its presence in Asia, a region it expects to become a key growth driver alongside North America, which now accounts for more than half of its revenue.
Win MS, a spin-off of France’s CEA research institute, already operates in aerospace, its core market, where its technology helps detect and locate electrical faults in complex wiring systems without dismantling equipment.
The company is now targeting maritime applications, including surface vessels and submarines, and is also entering the automotive sector through a partnership with a Swedish industrial player.
Founded in 2012, Win MS uses multi-carrier time-domain reflectometry (MCTDR) and other signal-analysis techniques to identify cable defects. It is increasingly integrating artificial intelligence to improve signal interpretation and detection accuracy.
The company said it is not planning a new fundraising round, citing profitability and sustained organic growth driven by product expansion and geographic diversification. The post French cable-monitoring specialist Win MS expands into Asia and new industries first appeared on All PYRENEES.
