深蓝S05 Deepal S05 REEV (Model code: C857) during GITEX 2026 (Marrakesh) The Deepal S05 (Shēnlán S05) is a compact crossover from Changan Automobile. The model was launched under the Deepal brand in the third quarter of 2024. The Deepal S05 is built on the EPA1 platform, which is also used in the S07, G318 and L07. Equipment The Deepal S05 is equipped with Huawei xPixel headlights, capable of functioning as a 120-inch projector with a resolution of 1.3 million pixels. The more basic versions feature an 8-speaker audio system, whilst the top-of-the-range models have a 14-channel system. The infotainment system includes a 15.4-inch touchscreen with 2.5K resolution and the Deepal OS 3.0 operating system. All models are equipped with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8155P chip. The traditional instrument panel has been replaced by an augmented reality (AR-HUD) head-up display. The centre console features a 13-litre (0.46 cu ft) temperature-controlled storage compartment capable of both heating and cooling its contents. The vehicle’s roof is fitted with a 1.9 m² panoramic sunroof. The electric versions offer a 159-litre (5.6 cu ft) front boot and a 651-litre (23.0 cu ft) rear cargo compartment, which is reduced to 464 litres (16.4 cu ft) in models with extended range (EREV). The S05 is equipped with a suite of sensors comprising five high-resolution cameras, five millimetre-wave radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors. These technologies enable ADAS functions such as lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.
