Male-on-male rape/sexual assault reported in Belmopan

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the alleged rape of a 27-year-old man in western Belize. The ongoing investigation commenced on Tuesday, April 28, when police responded to a report in the Las Flores area, Belmopan City. Upon arrival, they met a 27-year-old male who reported that between 1:00 a.m. and 1:30 a.m., he left a party with another known male person. They stopped to purchase beers, and while on their way back, the male companion allegedly threw him to the ground and dragged him behind a building where he sexually assaulted and raped him.
