Sunday Standard Trade deficit widens Botswana’s trade deficit widened sharply in February, highlighting the economy’s continued exposure to import surges and a narrow export base. Latest figures from Statistics Botswana show the deficit expanded to P4.2 billion, from a revised P1.8 billion in January.
