Open invite for new Walking Buddies group in Limerick

THE call has gone out to people across Limerick to get out and stretch the legs of a Thursday evening. The Walking Buddies Limerick group has put out an open invite to take part in their weekly walks. Kicking off from Collins Bar in Dooradoyle at 7.30pm each Thursday evening, the group set out for a relaxed 5k walk and a chat. The group, founded by Eimear Scully, have been meeting for the past 15 years. Open to all ages and fitness levels, the group also organises longer social hikes throughout the year, with events planned for June, August, and October.
