AG’s Department can “look good” without prosecuting corruption that’s why OSP matters, says Deputy AG

Deputy Attorney-General Dr Justice Srem-Sai says Ghana still needs a dedicated anti-corruption institution because the Attorney-General’s Department can easily focus on other crimes and still appear successful without prosecuting a single corruption case. Speaking on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, Dr Srem-Sai said this was one of the key reasons the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) was established — to ensure sustained and targeted attention on corruption-related offences.
