AG’s Department had no hand in OSP court case — Deputy AG pushes back on “sabotage” narrative

The Deputy Attorney-General, Dr Justice Srem-Sai, says the Attorney-General’s Department was not involved in the High Court case that led to the stripping of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) of its prosecutorial powers, insisting the office only became aware of the case after judgment had been delivered. Speaking on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show, Dr Srem-Sai rejected claims that the Attorney-General’s Department orchestrated the legal challenge to weaken the OSP, describing such suggestions as inaccurate and misleading.
