CARIFTA UPDATE: TEAM Bahamas ends second day with 18 medals

ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada The Bahamas showed its power in the relays, and other events, on Sunday, collecting eight more medals in the evening session of day two of the 53rd CARIFTA Games at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium in St. George’s, Grenada. The Bahamas won four gold and four silver medals on Easter Sunday night – two gold in the 4×100 meters (m) relays, and the other two in the jumps and multi events. The four silver medals came in the jumps, throws and multi events. Going into the final day of competition on Easter Monday, The Bahamas had 18 total medals – six gold, nine silver and three bronze.
