A surge of warm air and sunshine will lift temperatures across Finland this weekend, with forecasters warning that parts of the country may approach 10°C for the first time this year.
Meteorologists say the shift marks a clear step toward spring after a cold start to 2026. Daytime temperatures will rise above freezing across much of the country, including Lapland.
According to forecasts from the Finnish Meteorological Institute, the warmest conditions will appear in the south and west.
