Moda i ispredanje priča često idu zajedno. Kako povezujete svoja iskustva i ličnu priču u svoj rad u modelingu? Postoje li neke konkretne kampanje ili projekti gde ste osetili ovu povezanost?

Definitivno se slažem da moda i ispredanje priča idu ruku pod ruku, a kao glumica, volim da stvorim priče koje mi omogućavaju da se izrazim kroz svoje facijalne izraze i telo kako bih zabeležila priču u trenutku fotografije. Poslednja kampanja koju sam radila bila je za Revolve, čiji sam ambasador. Odlučila sam da se fotografišem u prelepoj haljini Lovers and Friends. Snimila sam dramatične slike i videe na krovu u Nici, Francuska, s pogledom na prelepo more. Moj cilj je bio da ispričam romantičnu priču i dam joj bajkovitu atmosferu, što sam i postigla.

Tokom Nedelje mode, prednji redovi revija su puni poznatih ličnosti i influensera. Da li postoji neki konkretan dizajner ili revija koje želite da posetite ove sezone?

Volela bih da vidim reviju Fendi ili Schiaparelli; uvek sam fascinirana kada gledam te revije, pa znam da mora biti raj biti prisutan i videti dizajne izbliza!

Godina 2024. je bila prilično uzbudljiva za vas! Koji vam je omiljeni trenutak i kako je to uticalo na vašu karijeru?

Moram reći da je Filmski festival u Kanu bio vrhunac za mene ove godine; nije bila samo zvezdasta, već sam videla toliko mode, i imala sam priliku da se puno fotografišem i da budem napolju u svojim kombinacijama. Osećala sam da je to veliki korak za mene i nešto na čemu ću nastaviti da radim i dublje se upustim, kao što je rad sa više brendova za prikazivanje na ovim događajima, i možda čak rad sa dizajnerima koje još nisam čula, ali stvarno rezoniraju sa mnom.

Growing up in Atlanta has been a big part of your journey. Can you share some memories from your childhood, especially any moments with your siblings, and tell us how you found your way into modeling?

I used to take pictures with my sisters. We would dress up sometimes and put on fashion shows for our family, as well as photoshoots! My family always told me I was photogenic, but as a kid, I just loved taking pictures.

Your mother's spiritual business is a fascinating part of your background. How has being involved in her business influenced you, and have you found any ways to merge spirituality with the fashion industry?

Being involved with my mom's business has greatly influenced my entrepreneurship. I was taken under her wing and have learned everything I needed to know about entrepreneurship through observation and personal experience. As far as merging spirituality and fashion, that is a work in progress. Still, through my spiritual business, I managed to integrate beauty and spirituality with my spiritual bath salts and shower gels for manifesting. It's a great way to set powerful intentions to manifest in the comfort and relaxation of your bath/shower.

Fashion and storytelling often go hand in hand. How do you incorporate your experiences and personal story into your modeling work? Are there any specific campaigns or projects where you felt this connection strongly?

I definitely agree that fashion and storytelling go hand in hand, and as an actress, I love to create stories that allow me to express through my facial expressions and body so that I can capture a story in the moment of a picture. The last campaign I did was for Revolve, which I am an ambassador for. I decided to shoot in this beautiful Lovers and Friends gown. I took dramatic pictures and videos at a rooftop location in Nice, France, overlooking the beautiful ocean. My goal was to tell a romantic story and give it a fairytale vibe which I accomplished.

You recently attended the Cannes Film Festival, which is always glamorous. How did that experience impact your view of the fashion industry, and were there any designers or fashion moments that stood out to you?

I saw so many amazing fashion moments; it was truly inspiring. It was also a blessed moment for me to be standing by some of the most influential models in the industry on the red carpet. There were definitely a few glamorous moments from Naomi Campbell; it was stunning!

Fashion Week is exciting, showcasing all the new collections. What trends are you most excited about this year, and how do they influence your style and work in modeling?

I'm seeing more crystal-embellished outfits, and I'm living for it! I love anything that sparkles and shines, and anything Swarovski crystal-embellished is a green light for me!

During Fashion Week, the front rows are filled with celebrities and influencers. Are there any specific designers or shows you want to attend this season?

I would love to see a Fendi show, or Schiaparelli, I am in awe every time I see the shows, so I know it must be heavenly to be there in person and see the designs up close!

2024 has been quite a year for you! What's been your favorite highlight, and how has it influenced your career?

I have to say the Cannes film festival was a highlight for me this year, not only was it star-studded but I saw so much fashion, and I got to take a lot of pictures and just being outside in my outfits I had a lot of pictures taken of me so I had to be ready. For my career, I felt like this was a big step for me and something to continue to look forward to and even dive deeper into, such as working with more brands to showcase at these events and maybe even working with designers I haven't heard of, but they really resonate with me.
